  1. Mars

    You were the Doom Slayer, waking chained beside demons in a Union Aerospace Corporation facility on Mars. You broke free, recovered your Praetor suit, and fought through the ruined base. Director Samuel Hayden and the artificial intelligence VEGA contacted you. The UAC had harvested energy from Hell. Its scientist Olivia Pierce had helped the demons invade.

  2. Argent Energy Tower

    You stopped the foundry from melting down, then pursued Olivia toward the Argent Energy Tower. Hayden wanted the energy equipment preserved. You smashed its filters while he protested. Olivia still reached the summit with an Argent Accumulator. She used it to open a portal, pulling you into Hell despite your attempt to cut off the tower.

  3. Kadingir Sanctum

    You fought through Kadingir Sanctum and found traces of the UAC expedition that had recovered your sarcophagus. You forced your way back to Mars, where the invasion had devastated the facility. Hayden installed a dimensional tether in your suit so he could retrieve you from Hell. He sent you toward Olivia’s research in the Lazarus Labs.

  4. The Crucible

    You learned of the Crucible, a demonic artifact needed to sever the connection between Mars and Hell. In Lazarus Labs, you confronted the Cyberdemon and tore an Argent Accumulator from its body. The device carried you back into Hell, where you finished the creature. You reached the Necropolis, killed the Hell Guards, and took the Crucible.

  5. VEGA

    You returned to Mars through Hayden’s tether, carrying the artifact. Reaching Hell’s energy source required another portal, powered by the destruction of VEGA’s processing facility. VEGA guided you through dismantling its own systems. Before triggering the core’s destruction, you saved a backup of the intelligence. The resulting energy surge sent you into Hell for the final assault.

  6. Argent D’NurThe ending

    You used the Crucible to destroy the sources sustaining the portals in Argent D’Nur. Olivia discovered that her demonic masters had betrayed her and transformed into the Spider Mastermind. You killed her, ending the invasion. Hayden then immobilized you and took the Crucible to continue his energy research. He teleported you to an unknown destination, leaving himself in possession of the weapon.
