What's on your Steam pile of shame?

Every game you never launched: stacked, priced, and dated.

Public profiles only. Free, read-only, no account needed.

What Steam itself shows.

Your Steam profile

A games count, played or not.

Your Steam library

Every game in a list. Nothing adds up the ones never opened.

Steam Replay

The games played in one year, not the ones that waited.

This page

The never launched apart, in a pile, at list price, with a date it clears.

The pile comes with the whole report: four games to start on, where the hours went instead, and a store clerk who goes through the library out loud.

The pile of shame, asked and answered.

What is a pile of shame?

Players' name for the games they bought and never got to. On Steam it is every game in the library with no time on record: picked up in a sale, part of a bundle, or saved for later.

How do I see my Steam pile of shame?

Paste your Steam profile address, custom name, or SteamID64 above. The report drops every never-launched game into a pile of cases you can throw around, counts them, rings them up on a till at list price, and says when you'd be through them at the pace you've played lately.

How is the cost worked out?

Each game is priced at what its own package costs in Steam's US store today. Several games sold as one package are charged once, and free games add nothing. It is not what you paid: most piles come from sales and bundles.

How is the clear date worked out?

Each game gets a length, from a stored main-story time where there is one, otherwise the average of its genre or of the pile, otherwise 12 hours. The date is that many hours at the pace of your Steam playtime over the last two weeks. With no play in those two weeks, there is no date to give.

Why does it say my hours are hidden?

Steam has a privacy setting, "Always keep my total playtime private", that reports every game at zero minutes, so nothing says which games were never launched. Your profile and game details also need to be public: in Steam, open Edit Profile, then Privacy Settings.

Do I need to sign in, and is it safe?

No account and no Steam sign-in are needed. The report is read-only and uses only what your Steam privacy settings already make public. No library is saved. Each game in it adds one to that game's counts across the libraries read here, and those counts hold no SteamID.
