How does it work?
Each card is a real Steam review of a well-known game: what the reviewer wrote, whether they recommended it, and how many hours they had played when they wrote it. Type the game, or press the mic and say it. You have three tries. A miss shows the game's year and kind, a second miss its cover in blocks. Naming it first try scores 3, then 2, then 1.
Where do the reviews come from?
From Steam's public reviews, the funniest and most helpful in English. Every one was read before it went in: any review that names its game, its series, its makers, a character or a famous line was left out, and so was anything unkind. The reviewers' names are not kept.
Can I play my own games?
Yes. Paste your public Steam profile and the cards come only from games you own, with your own hours shown next to the reviewer's once you have guessed. Nothing is saved and no account is needed.
When is there a new one?
Five new reviews every day at midnight, your time. After today's five, “One more review” keeps going for as long as you like.
Reviews are Steam users' own words, shown as they wrote them. Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks of Valve Corporation; this site is not affiliated with Valve.
