  1. Behind the Walls

    You were Bruce Wayne, protesting the vast prison district called Arkham City when Hugo Strange's guards arrested you. Strange knew you were Batman and threatened to expose you if you interfered with Protocol 10. Alfred delivered your equipment over the walls. Back in the suit, you rescued Catwoman from Two-Face and began investigating Strange's plan.

  2. Bad Blood

    You tracked the Joker to his steel mill and discovered that Titan had left him dying. He captured you and transfused his infected blood into your body. He had also shipped contaminated blood to Gotham's hospitals. You now needed a cure for both of you and everyone his blood threatened, while Strange's countdown continued across the prison.

  3. The Demon’s Blood

    You freed Mr. Freeze from the Penguin's museum and learned that his cure needed a rare restorative ingredient. You followed an assassin into Wonder City, where Talia al Ghul brought you before her father, Ra's. You survived his trials and took a blood sample. Freeze completed the cure, then fought you over his captive wife, Nora. During the struggle, Harley stole the remaining vial.

  4. A Deadly Bargain

    You returned to the steel mill and fought a Joker who appeared healthy. Then Protocol 10's bombardment brought the roof down, pinning you beneath debris. Talia stopped the Joker from killing you by offering him immortality. He left with her, and Catwoman pulled you free. Alfred and Oracle persuaded you to stop the massacre before pursuing Talia.

  5. Wonder Tower

    You climbed Wonder Tower while Strange's forces slaughtered Arkham City's prisoners. You reached his control room and had Oracle halt Protocol 10. Ra's appeared, revealing himself as the scheme's backer, and stabbed Strange for failing. Dying, Strange detonated the tower. You escaped the blast with Ra's, but he turned his sword on himself and fell onto the prison gates.

  6. Two Jokers

    You found Talia at the Monarch Theatre, where she stabbed the apparently healthy Joker. She had recovered the cure from Harley. Before you could save her, the real, dying Joker shot Talia dead. The other Joker was Clayface, impersonating him. You fought the shapeshifter for the vial as the battle broke through into the chamber below.

  7. The Final LaughThe ending

    You defeated Clayface, drank half the cure, and destroyed the Lazarus Pit before Joker could use it. Joker stabbed you while trying to seize the remaining medicine, making you drop and shatter it. You told him you would have saved him anyway. He laughed and died. With Talia also dead, you carried his body outside, laid it on Gordon's car, and walked away.
