  1. The Joker Returns

    You were Batman, bringing the Joker back to Arkham Asylum after his capture in Gotham. A fire at Blackgate had already filled Arkham with his gang. With Harley Quinn's help, he escaped custody and seized the island. Commissioner Gordon became a hostage, and you pursued the Joker through an asylum whose guards and doctors were suddenly trapped with their prisoners.

  2. Patient X

    You fought through the medical facility and endured Scarecrow's fear toxin, which turned your parents' deaths into waking nightmares. Gordon's apparent death was another hallucination. You rescued him from Harley, then discovered Bane restrained beneath the hospital. The Joker unleashed him against you. After defeating Bane with the Batmobile, you sent Gordon off the island and investigated Doctor Penelope Young's research.

  3. Doctor Young

    You learned that Young had developed Titan from Bane's Venom, with funding secretly supplied by the Joker. He wanted an army of monstrous fighters. You burned her research notes and saved her from Victor Zsasz, but she had already surrendered the formula. A bomb in Warden Sharp's safe killed her. You then freed Sharp and captured Harley, learning where Titan was being made.

  4. The Antidote

    You destroyed the Titan laboratory in the Botanical Gardens and sought Poison Ivy's help with an antidote. She directed you to rare spores in Killer Croc's lair. Scarecrow threatened to poison Gotham's water, but Croc dragged him underwater before he could act. You gathered the spores while evading Croc, escaped his pursuit, and returned to your hidden Batcave to prepare the cure.

  5. Arkham Overgrown

    You discovered another threat to Gotham's water: the Joker intended to pump Titan into the supply. You disabled his pumping stations and fought back to the surface. Titan had also strengthened Poison Ivy and her plants, which spread across Arkham. In the Botanical Gardens, you defeated her inside a colossal plant, then answered the Joker's invitation to his final party.

  6. The RooftopThe ending

    You intercepted a Titan dart aimed at Gordon and resisted mutation. After the Joker injected himself and transformed, you used your antidote on the rooftop and defeated him with an explosive punch. As Titan wore off, he and his men returned to custody. With Gordon safe, you flew toward Gotham to stop Two-Face's bank robbery. After the credits, Bane, Scarecrow, or Killer Croc reached for a floating Titan crate; the game chose this final appearance at random.
