The story of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II

6 parts, from the opening to the ending. Read it before Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III. This page tells the ending.

  1. Calderis

You commanded a Blood Ravens strike force sent to defend Calderis, a world that supplied your Space Marine Chapter with recruits. With Sergeant Tarkus, you helped Captain Davian Thule repel an Ork attack. You joined Scout Sergeant Cyrus and rescued Sergeant Avitus. Your pursuit of the Ork Mek Badzappa led to Fellhammer Mine, where Sergeant Thaddeus helped you survive an ambush.

  2. The Hidden Enemy

You discovered Eldar among the Orks. A dying Eldar warned of a greater enemy, but you continued hunting the forces stirring up attacks. Your pursuit took you to Typhon Primaris before Badzappa's assault brought you back to Calderis. You killed the Mek, only for Tyranids to swarm the battlefield. Thule fell grievously wounded, and your Marines evacuated under covering bombardment.

  3. Three War Fronts

You now faced a Tyranid fleet that threatened to consume the Aurelia sub-sector. You needed a biological weapon against it. Your priorities were a Tyranid toxin sample, Typhon's ancient Astronomic Array and the manufacturing facilities at Angel Forge on Meridian. You chose which objective to pursue first. These operations supplied the means to study the invaders and prepare the poison.

  4. Angel Forge

You also had to stop the Eldar from sacrificing Meridian. Farseer Idranel intended to lure the Tyranid fleet there and destroy it with the planet, protecting her craftworld at humanity's expense. You defeated that plan and secured the facilities your weapon required. Thule survived his poisoning, but his ruined body was interred in a Dreadnought so he could fight beside you again.

  5. The Final Deployment

You prepared to deliver the poison while the Hive Mind's psychic assault held up your reinforcements aboard the Litany of Fury. The effort weakened the enemy, which turned to Typhon to feed. You landed and introduced the toxin through its feeder tendrils. Above you, the strike cruiser Armageddon was destroyed. You were stranded as Tyranids closed around your position.

  6. Angelos ArrivedThe ending

You held out until Gabriel Angelos and his Blood Ravens arrived, breaking the encirclement with orbital fire and drop pods. Angelos joined your strike force against the Hive Tyrant Alpha. You killed the creature directing the assault while the poison destroyed the fleet's living ships. Your surviving warriors had saved Aurelia, and Thule remained among them inside his Dreadnought armour.
