Back to Egypt
You were Sam Stone, humanity’s last desperate weapon against Mental. His armies had driven humanity back to Earth, and the war was nearly lost. The ancient Sirian Time-Lock sent you into Egypt’s distant past. You arrived at the Temple of Hatshepsut, seeking a way to reach Mental before humanity’s destruction became inevitable.
The Four Elements
You fought through ancient Egypt while Mental sent monsters to stop you. The forces grew stronger as you survived each attack. Your immediate goal was to gather four elemental keys that would open the way into Thebes. That city held the means to summon the SSS Centerprice, a Sirian spaceship you needed to carry the fight beyond Earth.
Thebes and Its Guardian
You carried the four elements into Memphis and recovered the Sign of Amon-Ra, another essential piece of Sirian technology. At the entrance to Thebes, you placed the elements in their slots. A guardian of death rose to bar your passage. You destroyed it, opened the way onward, and pressed into the city toward Karnak and Luxor.
The Call from Luxor
You battled through Karnak and reached Luxor, where an obelisk concealed a transmitter. The Sign of Amon-Ra activated it, calling the Centerprice back to Egypt. You hurried toward the Great Pyramid to meet the ship. Mental’s enormous warlord Ugh-Zan III intercepted you, and his ability to recover from your attacks forced you to keep moving toward the pyramid.
The Great Pyramid
You reached the pyramid and used the Sign of Amon-Ra to prepare for boarding. Your implanted computer, NETRICSA, discovered that the ship killed intruders from unauthorized species. You had no assurance that humans would be accepted. You rode up to the exposed summit anyway, where Ugh-Zan III climbed after you and blocked your escape into space.
Aboard the CenterpriceThe ending
You drew Ugh-Zan III beneath the Centerprice and used its security beam alongside your weapons to defeat him. You stepped into the boarding area, and the ship accepted you as an authorized passenger. As the Centerprice departed toward Sirius, you called Mental and left a message announcing that you were coming for him.
