The story of Rise of the Tomb Raider

1. 1

   The Prophet's Tomb

You were Lara Croft, following your late father Richard's research into immortality. In Syria, you found the Prophet's tomb empty. Konstantin and the armed forces of Trinity arrived seeking the Divine Source, an artifact said to grant eternal life. You escaped the collapsing tomb. Its clues pointed toward the lost city of Kitezh, so you and Jonah traveled to Siberia.

2. 2

   The Prison

You were separated from Jonah by an avalanche and pushed onward alone. Trinity captured you at a Soviet installation. Ana, your father's former lover, revealed that she worked for Trinity and was Konstantin's sister. She wanted the Source to cure her terminal illness. You escaped with another prisoner, Jacob, who offered help and asked you to protect his people.

3. 3

   The Hidden Valley

You joined Jacob and his daughter Sofia among the Remnant, descendants of the Prophet's followers. You helped defend their valley against Trinity. To locate Kitezh, you sought an ancient map called the Atlas, braving the ruins and the Deathless soldiers guarding them. Back at the observatory, you reunited with Jonah and used the Atlas to locate the city beneath a glacier.

4. 4

   The Deathless Prophet

You lost the Atlas and Jonah when Trinity raided the observatory. During your rescue attempt, Konstantin stabbed Jonah, leaving him near death. You brought him to Jacob, who healed him. You realized Jacob was the immortal Prophet himself. He had used the Source to make the Deathless army. With Trinity breaking through the glacier, you took a hidden path into Kitezh.

5. 5

   The Divine Source

You fought through Kitezh and defeated Konstantin. Whether you executed him or left him to die was your choice. Ana reached the Source and shot Jacob as you confronted her. Surrounded by the Deathless, she tried to use its power. You took the artifact and smashed it with Jacob's consent. The Deathless perished, and Jacob lost his immortality. You stayed beside him as he died and crumbled into ash.

6. 6

   After KitezhThe ending

You escaped with Ana and demanded the truth about your father. She said Trinity had ordered his murder, but denied carrying it out. A hidden sniper killed her before you could learn more, then received orders to spare you. Back at Croft Manor, you listened to Richard's recording. Jonah reassured you that destroying the Source had been right. You left with him to catch a plane.
