  1. Raccoon City

    You were Jill Valentine, a S.T.A.R.S. officer investigating Umbrella when Raccoon City collapsed into a zombie outbreak. Nemesis smashed into your apartment. Umbrella had sent the creature to eliminate surviving S.T.A.R.S. members. You escaped into the streets, but your pursuer destroyed your rescue helicopter. Carlos Oliveira, a soldier in Umbrella's Biohazard Countermeasure Service, saved you and brought you to the subway.

  2. The Subway

    You distrusted anyone wearing Umbrella's badge, but Captain Mikhail Viktor needed help evacuating civilians. You restored the subway's power and route while Nemesis hunted you through the city. Carlos left to find vaccine researcher Nathaniel Bard. Your train departed, but Nemesis boarded it. Nikolai Zinoviev abandoned you, and Mikhail sacrificed himself with an explosive. The train derailed, leaving you its only survivor.

  3. Clock Tower Plaza

    You played as Carlos while he and Tyrell Patrick searched the police station for Bard. You contacted the doctor at Spencer Memorial Hospital, where he feared Umbrella was silencing its researchers. Back as Jill, you faced a transformed Nemesis outside the clock tower. You brought it down, but its tentacle struck you before you escaped. Infected and unconscious, you needed the vaccine yourself.

  4. Spencer Memorial Hospital

    You returned as Carlos and carried Jill into the hospital. Bard was already dead. His recording exposed Umbrella's creation of the T-virus, its cover-up, and vaccine stocks underground. You recovered the dose in his office and treated Jill. Tyrell then showed you the announcement: the government planned to destroy Raccoon City with a missile strike. You defended the hospital against zombies before heading underground to recover more vaccine.

  5. NEST 2

    You woke as Jill and followed Carlos beneath the hospital. A vaccine delivery offered a chance to stop the strike. Nemesis killed Tyrell as you approached Umbrella's NEST 2 laboratory, but you reached its equipment and synthesized a dose. Nikolai took it. He had been collecting combat data for a buyer, using your battles with Nemesis to increase his profit.

  6. The Last FlightThe ending

    You destroyed Nemesis with a railgun and confronted Nikolai on the roof. He shot the vaccine container, ending your chance to save the city. Carlos restrained him while you fired, wounding Nikolai. You left him behind and escaped with Carlos by helicopter. A government missile obliterated Raccoon City below you. Alive but unable to save its people, you resolved to bring Umbrella down.
