Just Cause 2's page

  1. Welcome to Panau

You were Rico Rodriguez, an Agency operative sent to Panau with Maria Kane. Your former handler, Tom Sheldon, had vanished with Agency money, and you were sent to find him. After recovering intelligence from a mountain base, you rescued informant Karl Blaine at Panau Falls Casino. He pointed you toward the groups fighting dictator Pandak 'Baby' Panay.

  2. Making Trouble

You stirred up trouble for Panay's military to gain contacts and information. The communist Reapers, the criminal Roaches, and the Ular Boys all wanted his government weakened. Which faction jobs you pursued depended on you. Your campaign of destruction eventually brought leads on the White Tiger, a mysterious figure who could bring you closer to Sheldon.

  3. The White Tiger

You rescued Ken Pang from execution and followed his lead through the desert to an Agency dead drop. The trail ended with you drugged and captured. Sheldon freed you and revealed that he was the White Tiger, as well as your black-market supplier. You fought off Panay's troops together and learned that Blaine had planted a tracker in your PDA.

  4. Foreign Interests

You next stormed Kastelo Singa to rescue Jade Tan from Panay's forces, then caught the convoy carrying her away. She revealed that agents from China, Russia, and Japan were operating in Panau. At the Three Kings Hotel, you killed the three foreign operatives with Sheldon's support. Their interest in the country still had a hidden cause.

  5. Into the Den

You chose which of the three factions supported your assault on Wajah Ramah Fortress. Inside, Panay revealed the prize drawing foreign powers to Panau: vast oil deposits. Before you could finish him, Blaine attacked with a grenade, killing himself and apparently Panay. You fought through the remaining guards and escaped as the fortress chamber exploded behind you.

  6. A Just CauseThe ending

You found Panay alive aboard a nuclear submarine at the oil fields. He launched missiles toward Russia, China, Japan, and America. You leapt between them, disabled three, and redirected the last into Panau's oil supply with Panay trapped aboard. Rejoining Sheldon, Kane, and Jade, you explained that destroying the oil had prevented a war. They accepted your decision; the Agency planned to install a friendly president, and you toasted with your surviving team.
