Can private games show up in a comparison?
No. Comparisons only work for public profiles, and games marked hidden from profile are excluded from the shared list and the play together shortlist.
Can the same game match across different platforms?
Yes. Matching uses a normalized catalog key, so the same title can match even if one player imported it from Steam and another added a console or manual copy.
