Can I challenge a friend with a comparison link?
Yes. Every finished comparison has a challenge link with a preview card, so you can send the head-to-head result to the other player or post it anywhere links unfurl.
Which profiles can be compared?
Only public Video Game Backlog profiles can be compared. If a profile is private or missing, the page sends you back to the picker instead of exposing library details.
How does the backlog pressure test choose a winner?
The showdown compares both players across categories like library size, untouched games, total hours, boomer-game hours, completion rate, value, and ratings, then crowns the side that wins more rounds.
How are shared games matched?
Shared games are matched by normalized catalog key instead of database id, so the same title can match even if one player imported it from Steam and another added a console or manual copy.
What is the Play Together list?
It is the shared-game shortlist for games both players could realistically pick next, grouped by whether both are playing, one is playing, or both still have it in the backlog.
Can hidden games show up in a comparison?
No. Games marked hidden from profile are excluded from comparison scoring, shared lists, play-together picks, and duel picks.
Are sample profiles fake users?
No. Sample profiles are clearly badged demo accounts managed by the site owner so visitors can try a working comparison before creating an account.
