  1. Valdelobos

    You were Leon S. Kennedy, a survivor of Raccoon City who had become a government agent. Six years after that disaster, you traveled to a remote Spanish village to rescue Ashley Graham, the president's kidnapped daughter. The villagers attacked you on sight. While freeing a prisoner named Luis Serra, you met village chief Bitores Méndez, who overpowered you and injected you with a parasite.

  2. The Church

    You found Ashley imprisoned in a church and led her out through the hostile village. Both of you carried Las Plagas, the parasites that enslaved the followers of Los Iluminados. Their leader, Osmund Saddler, wanted to use Ashley to spread his control. Luis explained that the parasites could be removed. With your helicopter extraction grounded by bad weather, you killed Méndez and escaped into a castle.

  3. Salazar's Castle

    You fought through Ramón Salazar's castle as the infection tightened its grip. Ashley briefly lost control of her body and turned your knife against you. You also encountered Ada Wong, the woman you had known in Raccoon City, pursuing her own mission. Luis brought medicine to delay the parasites' growth, then helped you through the mines while the cult carried Ashley farther away.

  4. Krauser

    You watched Jack Krauser, your former instructor, mortally wound Luis and take a parasite sample. Krauser had helped kidnap Ashley. Before dying, Luis gave you the key to his laboratory, where the infection could be removed. You killed the mutated Salazar and followed Ashley to an island with Ada's help. There, you fought Krauser again and killed him after he unleashed his own monstrous transformation.

  5. Luis's Laboratory

    You pushed toward Saddler's sanctuary, but the parasite nearly robbed you of control. Ada held Saddler back while you carried Ashley to Luis's laboratory. You used its equipment to destroy Ashley's parasite, then collapsed before treating yourself. Ashley returned the favor and removed yours. You were both free of Saddler's influence, but you still had to get off the island.

  6. EscapeThe ending

    You rescued Ada and killed Saddler with her help. Ada took the Amber parasite sample and departed by helicopter, leaving you a water scooter to escape the exploding island with Ashley. Aboard her helicopter, Ada learned that her employer, Albert Wesker, anticipated billions of deaths, and ordered the pilot to change course. You and Ashley survived, cured of the parasites, and headed home as radio contact returned.
