    You were JC Denton, a newly augmented agent of the United Nations Anti-Terrorist Coalition, UNATCO. The Gray Death plague was spreading, and the scarce treatment, Ambrosia, was reserved for the powerful. In New York, you pursued the NSF after it seized a shipment. Your brother Paul served alongside you, until you discovered he had secretly joined the people you were hunting.

  2. Changing Sides

    You learned from Paul that UNATCO served the conspiracy behind the plague. You broadcast an NSF distress signal and became a target yourself. Your choices determined whether Paul survived the raid on his hotel. Captured, you woke in a Majestic 12 prison beneath UNATCO headquarters. The mysterious Daedalus helped you escape, but your employers had activated a killswitch inside your body.

  3. Hong Kong

    You fled to Hong Kong to find Tracer Tong. You exposed Maggie Chow's part in a plot against the city's Triads and helped end their feud. Tong disabled your killswitch. Inside VersaLife, you uncovered evidence that the Gray Death was manufactured, with its treatment controlled by the same conspiracy. You destroyed a universal constructor used to produce the plague.

  4. Return to New York

    You returned to New York and met Stanton Dowd of the Illuminati. He directed you to the PRCS Wall Cloud at Brooklyn Naval Shipyards. You sank the freighter, destroying its Gray Death cargo before Majestic 12 could spread it across America. Dowd then sent you toward his Illuminati contacts in Paris.

  5. Paris

    You pursued Majestic 12 to Paris, where Silhouette's resistance led you to Nicolette DuClare. Through her mother's connections, you contacted Morgan Everett of the Illuminati. You accessed the Knights Templar Cathedral's computer so he could finish a cure for the Gray Death. Everett explained how Bob Page had seized Majestic 12 and used the plague to gain power. He sought to restore Illuminati control.

  6. Area 51

    You defended Gary Savage's scientists at Vandenberg, where the artificial intelligences Daedalus and Icarus merged into Helios. Page planned to merge with Helios and dominate global communications. To manufacture Everett's cure, Savage needed a working universal constructor. You retrieved ocean-lab schematics to complete it. When Page targeted Vandenberg with a nuclear missile, you redirected it toward his Area 51 stronghold, then followed him there.

  7. Your Final ChoiceThe ending

    You reached Page at Area 51 and decided how to end his bid for control. The outcome depended on you. Following Tong meant destroying the facility and global communications, leaving a technological dark age. Everett's plan meant killing Page and joining the Illuminati's concealed rule. Helios offered a merger that made you part of a new intelligence governing humanity. You ended Page's bid, but chose what replaced it.
